Job Description


The Engineer will aid in the development of new product design, new product prototyping, managing engineering change requests, overseeing engineering production changes, performing detailed print and quality documentation (ECR’s, PPAP, Quality Specifications), must have CNC manufacturing background and experience, with a focus on developing quality parts that fit within all safety standards.

Job Requirements


  •  Has experience CNC part Manufacturing and/or degreed in Engineering field.
  •  Updating and maintaining the proper documentation and prints for the existing product line as well as the new products.
  •  Ability to work with and provide the proper communication on Engineering projects and changes to all departments in a timely fashion.
  •  Ability to coordinate, set proper expectations and provide proper communications with customers to aid in the design of new product and prototypes.
  •  Have strong critical thinking skills and ability to solve challenging problems.
  •  Must have experience with key engineering applications, including but not limited to Solidworks to perform new design functions.
  •  Evaluate and offer continuous improvements in the manufacturing of existing parts by ways of designing and programming, leveraging existing assets and tools applying knowledge of software, systems and data to product design methods and prints.
  •  Have extensive knowledge in geometric dimensioning and tolerancing and deploy these methods in all engineering drawings and models.
  •  Self motivated and the ability to take corrective action as necessary.
  •  Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  •  Reports and confers with Engineering Manager on all Engineering related projects.
  •  Follows all proper process, procedures, and documentation requirements to ensure product design meets standards.
  •  Utilizes manpower, equipment, materials and assets to ensure minimal manufacturing errors.
  •  Works closely and maintains open communication with other members of the engineering team.
  •  Meets production goals in terms of quantity and quality.
  •  Use Global Shop ERP System to document actions by completing required documentation for all products.
  •  Participate in training and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  •  Maintains safe operations by keeping work area clean and organized and by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
  •  Demonstrating work behaviors consistent with the company values and work within prescribed boundaries, including company policies, standards, and procedures.
