Job Description

Event Management

Manage all aspects of event planning and execution for Fellowship Housing’s 3 major events, including The Annual Gala, Annual Golf Outing and Annual Team 5K Run/Walk, and for minor events such as graduations, fundraisers, open house, etc.  

  • Manage and execute all event timelines and budgets.

  • Recruit, train, and build volunteer teams for all organizational events.

  • Develop and manage venue relationships for all organizational events.

  • Work with Executive Director to plan program elements for all events.

  • Build relationships with local businesses to secure event sponsors and in-kind donations

  • Maintain event donor information and lists in Gift Works;

  • Create and send gift-in-kind donor tax letters

  • Provide events statistical information for presentation to the Board and for future event planning

  • Perform other duties as required by the Associate Director.

 

Marketing Management

Manage all aspects of marketing for Fellowship Housing including the organization’s social media presence.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing plan for Fellowship Housing, including a specific marking plan for all events.

  • Develop and manage relationship with external marketing partnerships.

  • Manage content changes to Fellowship Housing website. 

  • Develop Fellowship Housing’s presence on a variety of social media outlets, including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, including, but not limited to, creating awareness for all events.

  • Work with Fellowship Housing staff to create monthly Enewsletter.

  • Coordinate the design and printing of general Fellowship Housing marketing materials.

  • Perform other duties as required by the Associate Director.

 

Job Requirements

  • MUST have prior event experience.

  • Experience in non-profits, marketing and/or donor development is a plus!
