Job Description

Mill Creek Systems, Inc. is  a technology consulting firm with an office in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago is looking for an individual to fulfill all bookkeeping and office administrative tasks.

This includes responsibility for A/R (creating invoices), A/P, payroll, bank accounts (balancing statements), federal/state reporting, working with our CPA for tax issues,  insurance compliance, billable time tracking, managing vendors, office space and all other administrative-related matters. There will also be some internal management (cost) accounting responsibilities.

We estimate this will take 15-20 hours/month. The hours are generally flexible and can be scheduled around the days/times of your availability during regular business hours M-F.

Our current Bookkeeper/Admin person is retiring after 9 years with the company.

Job Requirements

Demonstrated proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, Windows.

Must have organizational and communication skills and have demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.

Will train the right candidate for QuickBooks Payroll, Payroll Filing Reports, if necessary.
